This extremely delightful decoction comes from the Organic Farms of Assam. A perfect Handcrafted blend of Organic Handmade green tea with Blue Butterfly flowers (ClitoriaTernatea). The citrusy and earthy decoction of this tea has an azure blue colour which is 100 % Natural, no food colour is added to this tea. This blue colour is basically the colour of butterfly pea flowers which when immersed in hot water tend to release the hue. Also, it’s quite interesting that if a few drops of lemon juice are added to a brewed cup of blue tea the colour instantly changes from blue to purple. This magical tea is not only a visual treat to the eyes but will also lift up your senses & spirits. So revive your boring afternoons with this amazing tea. INGREDIENTS:
Handmade Organic Green tea, Peppermint leaves and Blue pea butterfly flowers.
STEEPING NOTES:
Water Qty: 190 ml
Tea Qty: 2 Grams or 1 tsp
Temp to Boil: 80°c
Steep Time: 3-4 Minutes
Strain and Serve.
This tea can be re-steeped up to 2-3 times. Just add hot water to the infused leaves and keep the steeping time longer than the first cup.
TASTE NOTES:
Fresh vegetal , Earthy, Grassy & Citrusy.
Suggested Condiments :
1) Drink plain as a healthy mocktail
2) Add lemon
3) Add Honey/ Sugar
Although this tea can be consumed plain hot,we suggest a variation in drinking this tea as Iced tea.. just brew 2 tsp ( 4 Gram) tea in 190 ml boiled water and prepare the tea. Then pour the tea in the tumbler & add honey/sugar as per your taste along with some lemon juice. Now add some Ice cubes to the decoction & VOILA ! your delicious Iced tea is ready… CHEERS!!!.
