This single-origin tea is pure an unblended and is basically picked during the second flush season (May and June ), as during this period the climatic conditions are quite favorable to add to the characteristics and flavor of this tea. The dry leaves are twisty and curly and the infusion is bright reddish liquor. This tea is cherished worldwide not only by the tea connoisseurs but truly loved by everyone who is a fan of Assam orthodox. A tea having full bloom and body, a perfect cup to start your day with and give you that extra zing of energy to your afternoon tea experience.
Description
INGREDIENTS:
Assam black tea whole leaves TGFOP grade.
STEEPING NOTES:
Water Qty: 190ml – 200ml
Tea Qty: 2.5 Grams or 1 tsp
Temp to Boil: 90°c – 95°c
Steep Time: 3-5 Minutes
Strain and serve.
We recommend keeping the steeping time to 3 minutes as steeping for a longer time may introduce bitterness.
This tea can be re-steeped multiple times. Just add hot water to the infused leaves and keep the steeping time longer than the first cup.
TASTE NOTES:
Full-bodied, malty flavor, robust, brisk with nutty, Woody, chocolaty, and honey under notes.
Suggested Condiments :
1) Drink plain
2) Add honey/sugar
3) Add lemon
4) Add milk
We recommend drinking this tea piping hot !! Lemon can be added to the decoction for a citrusy cup of health. But be careful if you are adding milk then please do not add lemon juice to the same Cup as it results in curdling of milk which is not desirable.
Best Paired with: Sandwiches, breakfast, lasagna, scrambled eggs, omelets, pastries and cakes, dark chocolate.
