INGREDIENTS:
Green tea leaves, Hibiscus flowers.
STEEPING NOTES:
Water Qty: 180 ml
Tea Qty: 2 Grams or 1 tsp
Temp to Boil: 80°c – 90°c
Steep Time: 3 Minutes
Strain and Serve.
This tea can be re-steeped up to 3 times. Just add hot water to the infused leaves and keep the steeping time longer than the first cup.
TASTE NOTES:
Tangy, Citrusy, Floral, Sour taste of Hibiscus flowers while Green tea gives a vegetal depth to the cup.
Suggested Condiments :
1) Drink Plain
2) Add Lemon
3) Add salt
4) Add sugar/ Honey
Yes, you got that right ….. SALT …. of course, we can add salt to this tea to make it more delectable. We suggest adding a pinch of salt to the decoction along with some drops of lemon juice. Also one can prepare Iced tea which tastes excellent. Just brew 2 tsp (4 Grams) of tea for 180 ml of boiled water and prepare the tea. Then pour the tea into the tumbler & add salt, sugar/honey as per your taste along with some lemon juice. You can also add some crushed fresh mint leaves. Now add some Ice cubes to the decoction and Voila !! your delicious Iced tea is ready… Cheers !!!.
