This variety of green tea is made from leaves of the Camellia Sinensis plant that grow under the shades of trees in sunlight. Leaves from the upper young shoots are picked and are therefore high in quality and rich in antioxidant properties. After picking, the leaves undergo a steaming process which immediately prevents oxidation and retains the goodness of green tea. Subsequently, the tea leaves go into the drying and rolling process where it gets their needle-like flattened shape. This tea has a medium level of caffeine and is full of antioxidants, minerals and vitamins.

INGREDIENTS:

Green tea leaves

STEEPING NOTES:

Water Qty: 180ml – 200ml

Tea Qty: 2 Grams or 1 tsp

Temp to Boil: 80°c

Steep Time: 2-3 Minutes

Strain & Serve.

We recommend keeping the steeping time to 2 minutes as steeping for a longer time may introduce bitterness.
This tea can be re-steeped multiple times. Just add hot water to the infused leaves and keep the steeping time longer than the first cup.

TASTE NOTES:

Fresh grassy vegetal taste with subtle notes of astringency and Umami flavour.

Suggested Condiments :

1) Drink plain
2) Add honey/sugar
3) Add lemon
4) Add freshly crushed mint leaves.
We recommend drinking this tea plain and hot.

Best Paired with: Baked stuff, breakfast, sandwiches, light dinner, scrambled eggs, patisserie items.
