“Ek cutting chai Lana” (bring one cutting chai) is a slang generally used in Mumbai (old name Bombay) where the chaiwallahs (the tea vendors) prepare this tea and serve it in a special glass which is not kept full rather only half of the glass is served …..that’s why called cutting chai.
