Assam Golden Tips Special Tea

Presenting our premium range of 100% authentic and pure Japanese stone grounded Matcha tea. It is a talc-like nutrient powder of specially grown and processed green tea leaves. This Tea is native to Japan and unique in the sense that the green plants used for making Matcha are shade-grown for three or four weeks before harvest and the veins of leaves and stems are removed during processing. During shaded growth, the plant (Camellia sinensis) produces more caffeine, and theanine, ECGC, stimulates chlorophyll levels and turns the leaves into a darker hue of green. Grinding of deveined leaves is a slow process because the millstones must not get too warm, otherwise, the Aroma of the leaves gets altered due to heat. Up to 1 hour may be needed to grind 30 grams of matcha .....just imagine the hard work and time taken to grind 1 kg of Matcha. In general, Matcha is expensive compared to other forms of green tea due to the process involved in making it, which is really a time-consuming affair. Matcha is high in antioxidants and provides sustained energy. For better results drink Matcha with a balance diet and exercise for optimum results.  Unlike green tea (where the tea leaves are not ingested) a cup of Matcha is drank as a whole which has more health benefits than normal green tea. The quality of Matcha depends upon the grading system, density of the shade trees, terroir, the time of harvest, process of manufacture, climate, plant variety,  Horticulture practices, oxidation, etc.
