This tea is very delicate in the sense that:
1) only the delicate upper tippy part of the tender Tea Leaf is used.
2) the processing and handling are to be done very efficiently and only the masters can make this tea.
3) it’s delicate on the tongue and senses, with a refreshing feel.
Description
INGREDIENTS:
Golden tippy Assam orthodox tea leaves.
STEEPING NOTES:
Water Qty: 190ml – 200ml
Tea Qty: 2.5 Grams or 1 tsp
Temp to Boil: 90°c – 95°c
Steep Time: 3-5 Minutes
Strain and serve.
We recommend keeping the steeping time to 3 minutes as steeping for a longer time may introduce bitterness.
This tea can be re-steeped multiple times. Just add hot water to the infused leaves and keep the steeping time longer than the first cup.
TASTE NOTES:
Rich malty, sweet mildly brisk with a soft and rounded mouth feel and lingering aftertaste of honey and peaches.
Suggested Condiments :
1) Drink plain
2) Add honey/sugar
3) Add lemon
4) Add milk
We recommend drinking this tea piping hot !! Lemon can be added to the decoction for a citrusy cup of health. But be careful if you are adding milk then please do not add lemon juice to the same Cup as it results in curdling of milk which is not desirable.
Best Paired with: Sandwiches, breakfast, lasagna, scrambled eggs, omelets, pastries, and cakes.

Matcha Green Tea
Presenting our premium range of 100% authentic and pure Japanese stone grounded Matcha tea. It is a talc-like nutrient powder of specially grown and processed green tea leaves. This Tea is native to Japan and unique in the sense that the green plants used for making Matcha are shade-grown for three or four weeks before harvest and the veins of leaves and stems are removed during processing. During shaded growth, the plant (Camellia sinensis) produces more caffeine, and theanine, ECGC, stimulates chlorophyll levels and turns the leaves into a darker hue of green. Grinding of deveined leaves is a slow process because the millstones must not get too warm, otherwise, the Aroma of the leaves gets altered due to heat. Up to 1 hour may be needed to grind 30 grams of matcha .....just imagine the hard work and time taken to grind 1 kg of Matcha. In general, Matcha is expensive compared to other forms of green tea due to the process involved in making it, which is really a time-consuming affair.
Matcha is high in antioxidants and provides sustained energy. For better results drink Matcha with a balance diet and exercise for optimum results. Unlike green tea (where the tea leaves are not ingested) a cup of Matcha is drank as a whole which has more health benefits than normal green tea.
